Who is This Guy?
My name is Andrei Silencov, and I specialize in FPV drone filming, video editing, and aerial cinematography. I come from Moldova, a small country in Europe, but my passion for technology and precision has brought me to the Netherlands — one of the best places to be an engineer.
From an early age, I’ve been fascinated by craftsmanship and innovation. I am a perfectionist — precision and problem-solving mind naturally led me to study mechanical engineering. However, during my second year at university, I discovered FPV drones — and I was hooked. The incredible, dynamic footage I saw on YouTube made me want to fly like that, to create visuals that simply wouldn’t be possible with any other camera system.
After two years of dedication, flying drones went from a hobby to a professional pursuit. Since graduating, I’ve decided to turn my passion into a career, bringing high-quality aerial cinematography to businesses and individuals. I obtained my EASA Open Category license and plan to earn my Specific Category license soon, allowing me to fly in controlled airspace without restrictions.
To perfect my craft, I’ve spent multiple hours in a flight simulator, built custom drones of various sizes, and flown in diverse environments — from open landscapes to tight indoor spaces. Now, I’m ready to share this passion and skill with my clients.
How does it work?
Preparation
Before the drones take off, we’ll start with a conversation — discussing your project’s needs, location, timing, and budget. Some shoots take an hour, others might need a full day — it all depends on the scope and complexity.
Indoor flights are always possible (as long as the venue is informed), and outdoor flying usually works too, though some areas may have restrictions. That’s why we’ll go over everything in detail beforehand.
On the shoot day, we’ll plan the flight path together and make sure everyone involved knows what to expect. Once we’re aligned, it’s time to fly. Filming is a creative process — adjustments happen on the spot until we get the desired result. In addition to drone shots, still pictures and other useful footage will be captured.
After the Shoot
Once the filming is done, there are two options:
▶ I can deliver the raw footage for you to use however you like.
▶ I take care of the full post-production process, keeping you involved every step of the way.
I edit in DaVinci Resolve, where I cut the video, sync it to music, enhance it with visual and sound effects, and bring everything together by applying color grading. The result is a tailor-made video that fits your requirements — perfect for marketing, social media, or anything else you have in mind.
I'm based in Eindhoven, Netherlands, and happy to travel anywhere in the country. Projects outside the Netherlands? Let’s talk about it.
